Nissan has announced it will build an all-new car in the UK from 2010, and released a sketch to whet our appetites. The model is an addition to Nissan’s current range and is described as an ‘innovative all-new compact car’. The new car is expected to be a crossover model, with Nissan previously having stated it wishes to expand its line-up beyond Qashqai, Qashqai+2 and the forthcoming Murano.
The winter edition of Car Design News' quarterly interior design publication, Interior Motives magazine, is out now sporting more pages and a brand-new layout designed to put the exclusive sketches, development images and high-quality photographs that accompany each story in their best possible light. Struggling Swedish manufacturer, Saab, has finally filed for bankruptcy. What may well prove to be the closing chapter in this ongoing saga could see the iconic brand laid to rest following months of uncertainty. A statement by parent company, Swedish Automobile NV (Swan) announced that: ‘After having received the recent position of GM on the contemplated transaction with Saab Automobile, Youngman informed Saab Automobile that the funding to continue and complete the reorganization of Saab Automobile could not be concluded.
